Landed in Amsterdam

Landed in Amsterdam at 8:00 AM here. That's 2AM at home. With a six hour layover I was hoping to visit the home of Anne Frank. But after checking online it was all soldout. I've been reading the book during my flight and am sorry to miss the house. The only other things people tell me to visit are either the Van Gogh museum or the Red light district. Sorry, neither hold much attraction so I'm hanging out at the airport. Had a bowl of Oriental soup (with chopsticks, lol) and spent some time in a camera store. Yea, I know, weird, huh?
Well I probably wouldn't even be this far if it weren't for the help of my guardian angel in the Nigerian Consulate in New York, Zainab (hope that is spelled correctly, don't have my notes.) For those of you that don't know I spent a tense few days waiting for my visa to be processed. The NY consulate refused it originally. But with advice from Z I sent it the Washington embassy and I followed it up with a call to Senator Greggs office. They also called the embassy on my behalf. But it was really my guardian angel that gave me and my brother the names to ask for.
Hey Zainab, if you get to read this, thank Mr. Rimi for me.
One more note, flying over across the Atlantic, the outside temperature of the plane showed up as minus 61 degrees fahrenheit. It struck me odd that the temperature right there was 160 degrees different from where I'm going. Granted I was probably flying over Iceland at 500mph but still. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DEGREES!
PS: now been awake 22 hours. Probably be pushing 30 hours before my head hits a pillow.
post pictures when I can.
